BigPixure isn't your typical startup. We don't need outside funding or investment. We don't expect our team members to work into the wee hours on impossible tasks, and we don't aimlessly pursue "buzzword ambitions" in our roadmap.

Telecommuting: Yes, like most tech startups, we too have a funky little office here in downtown Victoria. But in general, attendance is optional. We fully embrace the advantages that the software model makes possible, and encourage our team to do likewise.

So if you like to work from home, or while traveling the world - awesome! So long as things get done - that works for us.

Work Schedules: You get to make your own. Hate mornings? Then sleep in. Have to run some errands for a few hours? You don't even need to ask.

For some roles, there will be occasional meetings or scheduled calls - but in general, we're a very flexible team that thrives on self-direction and project-focused performance as opposed to schedule-driven performance.

Culture: We obviously look for the smartest & most-talented people to fill positions, but we never compromise when it comes to attitude. Humility and positivity will score far higher than superior talent at the expense of those attributes.

Current Positions & Available Contracts

Full-Stack Web Developer: We're currently seeking an experienced full-stack developer proficient in PHP, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, CSS/HTML & UI/UX Design. This position is a floating role between the client-facing interface, admin & backend, & to some extent our frontend and marketing site.

This position starts as a project-level contract (assisting our current developers) and will ideally transition to a full-time role. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience.

Key requirements: We're looking for a problem solver... not just a problem identifier. Ideally, you naturally look for creative solutions to arrive at the ultimate objective, even if the conventional approach seems impossible.

Customer Success Advisor: We're currently seeking a knowledgable, customer-facing representative who can assist our existing customers with a full range of advice, product implementation & other areas of support in using the platform.

Practical experience in the marketing tech space is required, as familiarity with the purpose & context of our product line is essential.

This position starts either as part-time or outside contract (in the case of remote work) and will ideally transition to a full-time role. Compensation is competitive.
